JIVE Talk

Puncher students and the DA

Had a funny and fun show this moring with Will and Lauren lots of puncher stuff going down this week, Keep in mind the consession stand will only be doing small treats and drinks so unfortunely that means no nachos y'all but we will endure it to watch the Punchers take Comfort out of it comfort zone this Friday.

We also had the DA herself in Tonya Ahlschwede, She filled us in on all the training programs that our law enforcement have to go through as well as what local drug problems we are facing in town.

Stupid ways I got hurt:

Will:  "I got my first pocket Knife at age 8 and decided to carve bark off a tree to make it look like a deer rubbed it.  I was attempting to lure in deer so I could hunt them and in my attempt to do so I sliced my finger almost off."

Lauren:  "I had previously dislocated my knees before and you might be asking why this is relavent to my story well it happened again just this time it was due to history class, thats right history dislocated my knee.  My desk was bumped by the person in front of me and the leg of my desk hit my knee and pop there it went.  I wasn't able to move and was the joke for many of the faculty as they helped me with my injury."

Hello Vietnam and stupid ways you got hurt 2

Hello again Lonestar fans,

Today was all about the Vietnam war it has been 50 years since that horrid war so on today's show we talked all about what the veterans of vietnam went through and how country backed them up.

Today's stupid hurt was:

"So my husband was laying carpet in his cousin's house and I was "helping". Since we were young and in love, I thought it was a good idea to jump on his back as he was walking across the room...little did I realize he had a utility knife in his back pocket partially open and cut the inside of my thigh! Not my best moment!" From Linda Tatsch

thank you so much Linda I got a good chuckle from this.
