Jeff Ingleby

So here’s my background to give all you listeners a heads up on who you are unfortunately having to listen to, I was born in Long beach CA (even though I never claim it) I moved around alot in my younger years due to my father’s line of work, until my parents got divorced then my family moved to Murray Utah (this is what I claim) after graduating high school in Utah I moved in with my mother and the rest of my family who of the time period was living in California after a little over a year of working various security guard jobs I decided like my older brother to join the US Army but unlike my older brother I decided to join the enlisted side of the house, he went officer. I went to Fort Sill OK for basic and job training as a forward observer to explain that job using a map and radio I called in artillery strikes on enemy targets. After my training in Fort Sill I proceeded to my unit 4th infantry division in Fort Hood, TX. I spent about three months in the barracks room to try and save money but 3 months was about all I could take so I approached my roommate about going out to do something and he set me up with my now wife Kaycee we dated for about another 3 months but because I would be deploying soon we went ahead and got married in 2007 shortly after that we got pregnant with our first child who was born 3 months into my first deployment (Iraq) would be born. I got to come home for two weeks in time to be there for the birth. After my time in Iraq my unit moved to Fort Carson Colorado where during a strong snow storm my soon to be daughter decided it was time to be born, I was in the middle of training in the field so it was a mad scramble to get me back in time for the birth. In 2010 I deployed to Afghanistan spent 10 months there and came home, I reenlisted to return to Fort Hood texas where my last child was born but due to an injury from my Afghanistan tour the army decided in 2014 I could no longer perform my duties as a forward observer so the army gave me the new job of ammunition accounting and logistics. In 2015 I decided I wanted to try new things and spend more time with my family so I switched from active duty to reserves and have been stationed at Fort Douglas Utah ever since. I attended college at Weber state university from 2016-2018 and decided we wanted to move back to Mason to be closer to our family. After my wife was working at the radio station for about a year she introduced me to Uncle Charley who decided to recruit me in to be a morning show co host for about six months till I found other work as a prison transport supervisor and then after about 8 months I started surveying with Llano Surveying and mapping till my wife informed me we are buying the radio station and so here I am now hosting JIVE talk with my fellow host Vicki, I also am the station’s Advertising sales manager.
